Join famed chef Magnus Nilsson (Faviken, Sweden and The Nordic Cookbook) for an exclusive breakfast event.
Nilsson will be hosting Rootstock Sydney’s unique breakfast with aboriginal people representative of the Yuin community and talented Tasmania-based chef David Moyle (Franklin, Hobart), cooking dishes with inspiration drawn from both Nilsson’s cookbook and Australian indigenous produce and ancestral recipies for both drinks and food. Expect a variety of dishes including emu eggs prepared traditionally and accompanied by traditional songs, alongside native grains milled and seeds reinterpreted into North European bread style by Sydney-based chef wunderkind Pasi Petanen. Nilsson will be discussing his recipes and life working in his restaurant Faviken during this unique feast. This is truly a one-off, amazing event.
