At the top end of the Basket Range valley surrounded by steep hills and sheltered by bush lands, is our farm. The hills give way to slopes where 12 acres of vineyards are staked out in a bowl with almost all aspects represented. The climate is very warm to hot during ripening with cool evenings that allow for fruit development.

The soils are shallow loam with red iron rich clay over sandstone containing an abundance of quartz and iron shale. The vineyards are primarily Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with small plots of Pinot Gris and Nebbiolo.

The farm has been in our family for over 20 years and in the last four we have begun to transition into Organic and Biodynamic practices. The intention of the wine making is to reflect terroir.  The wines are very low Sulphur and grapes vinified by slow and gentle fermentation processes.
