We grew up in the Vale, surrounded by vines, vintage smells and awesome people. Over the years we have worked as grape pickers, pruners, cellar hands and in the cellar door.

In 2009 we took a punt and decided to open a shop in McLaren Vale showcasing the delicious minimal intervention wines that we discovered in the world - wines with texture, soul and drinkability.

We made our first Montepulciano in 2012 in two handmade clay pots. Four vintages in and the journey is getting wilder and more exciting each year. Now we have our own small winery, are studying viticulture, have a new vineyard overlooking the sea at Maslin Beach, are learning more about the varieties we use, and are trying to keep everything hands off, with provenance and the grapes at the heart of everything - nothing added, nothing taken away. Dao-ist wine-making, following the currents.
