I inherited Fattoria San Lorenzo from my father Gino, whom in his turn had inherited it from his father Enrico. My father spent his life selecting old clones and taught me everything I know about our vines.

I try hard to preserve identity being very much aware of the harming potential of the interaction between politics and biodiversity.

I try to act as an old farmer as much as possible as old farmers were "organic" in every respect before industrial agriculture started killing the countryside by promoting the idea of taking the “fatigue” out of the peasant's life.
