After travels throughout Australia and internationally completing vintages in countries such as France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and South Africa, in 2006 Si Vintners was established as a couple of barrels, some open fermenters and a basket press in a friend's shearing shed. 

 

In 2010 the Halcyon vineyard (Rosa Glen, planted in 1978) was purchased and the dream continued.  Since the moment the property was purchased the focus has been on organic/biodynamic farming. The farm is currently in the process of applying for organic certification.  Si Vintners also work with some neighbouring properties, which adhere to their growing guidelines.
