A family owned vineyard located on the Northern side of Mt Etna, near Passopisciaro, some 750 metres above sea level.

Residing on the estate, Laura and Peter Wiegner and their family, oversee 6 hectares of vines, spread across what is known as ‘Cotrada Rampante’ and ‘Contrada Marchesa’.

 

This is one of the most prestigious areas on the Etna mountain, with a perfect combination of plain lavic soil, altitude and excellent climatic conditions in which to grow grapes.

 

Wiegner is producing high quality wines, according to strict organic farming principles, always keeping as paramount, respect for the Etna terroir: now a World Heritage site.
